So far the following persons have agreed to accept nominations: Tim Winston, President; Tom Warnke, Vice President; Kristi Webster, Treasurer; Diane Szender, Historian; and Loren Gulhaugen, Past President. No one has agreed to run for the position of Secretary yet. Nominations for all offices may also be made from the floor at the September meeting. COMMITTEES
Motions were passed at the August meeting to appoint advisory committees in the following areas, Senior Court Scholarship Program, Float Program, Members/Marketing, and Junior Court Program. The duties of each committee will be to 1) determine the current purpose, methods, and budget; 2) get input on deficiencies, opportunities, and funding sources; 3) produce a report of findings; and 4) produce and justify recommendations for changes or additions, including revisions to standing rules. Committee findings will be reported at the October meeting, and recommendations for rules changes will be presented for membership vote at the November meeting. A committee chairperson is needed for the marketing committee to get this going. Additional members for all committees are still welcome. If you would like to participate in any of these committees, please contact Tim Winston at winstonfamily@yahoo.com.
